It's not every day you discuss your money and dreams with someone you've only just met.
So what can you expect in your first meeting with your financial adviser?
You'll be asked personal and financial questions so that your adviser can get to know you, understanding if and how they can help.
ACTION
They will ask you about what you hope to achieve, what you might be worried about, and what you might want to do and have that you need money for.
KNOWLEDGE
They will need to understand your current situation, what you own including assets and items of value. How much you owe on loans, mortgages or credit cards. How much you earn, and how much you spend.
WEALTH
They will also ask what you want your future to look like, so it's a great opportunity to have a think about it.
All this can be hard to remember. So it will help to bring your bank statements, super statements, payslips and any other supporting documentation.
As your adviser, the more we understand who you are and what's important to you, the more likely we can create a plan to help you get there.
